We could be seeing a slim Xbox One this year at E3 2016, and we could also see a more powerful Xbox One at E3 2017. Sources told Kotaku Later this year we’ll see a cheaper, smaller Xbox One, and next year Microsoft will release a more powerful version of their premiere console.

The Xbox that is set to release in 2017 will have a more powerful GPU according to three people familiar with this model. They also say that the model is code named Scorpio and will be able to support Oculus Rift and that Microsoft is pursuing a partnership with Oculus.

These sources who wish to remain anonymous, also claim that at E3 2016 Microsoft will reveal a more compact Xbox One that will also include a 2 TB hard drive.

Microsoft alternately is also reportedly preparing a Chromecast-like device that would allow you to stream Xbox One games from a main console in a living room to a second TV elsewhere in a house. If Microsoft does introduce such a device, it will be a basic streaming stick that works with the Xbox One controller. And it is rumoured to be revealed at E3 2016.
